Today Mark gave me a character to builds to help get me up to speed with 3DS Max. I'm feeling really confident with it now, to the point where I'm almost as fast as I am in Maya.
Also I got to see how Nexus' custom pipeline tools work. It allows artists from different parts of the pipeline to work on the same scene and you can import only the parts of that scene that you need. For example if you are the animator you can import just the parts of the scene that need animating.
